NYC reviews: "Preston, thank you so much for your work on Thursday in NYC. You were an absolute asset to the event. Everybody was most complimentary." - Regards, Alison Kitchingman, Milliken Carpets
"We had nothing but compliments in regards to your talents. I thank you for helping to make this event a absolutely amazing success." - Christian P. Arkay-Leliever, Director of Strategic Innovation, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, Wall St, NYC
NYC was a blast. Thursday was the gig. We arrived early so had plenty of stress-free time to set up. Then we (Jason (sax) and I) played for 4 hours and we got lots of compliments. Friday is when Emily (my bride) and I did everything: Went to Ground Zero ... cried and prayed. Then the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors (www.CoSM.org) and had a truly spiritual experience with the mystical paintings -- a *must see*. Visited Spirit New York, a conscious-dance club, and made a connection with the owner. (He's creating 7 of them, Spirit Dublin was the 1st.) Spent time in Central Park / Christo's Gates Thu and Fri. Loved Times Square, mouths agape. All-in-all it was just wonderful!

KARMA SUTRA :
Prana

"Singer Mona Jethmalani truly soars in her astounding debut taking risks, singing in both Hindu and English, and daring to be boldly erotic. Prana is the most diverse fusion of Hindustani and Western culture in recent years, with Western classical-influenced vocals, dance beats, and the mysticism of Dead Can Dance. Tablas, electronics, and chanting create a haunting whole, a powerfully atmospheric soundtrack, hypnotic. Nothing can hold back the immense force of Mona Jethmalani's rising star."

- Tony Van Dorsten, www.fastnbulbous.com/

POINTY TEETH photo
by Lee Higgs

"A shot on target! Pointy Teeth's Cinema-Tech moves through techno, trance, jungle, breakdance. There's maturity and virtuosity in the writing. Each track is a new experience in intelligent dance music. Absolutely essential listening!!"
- SideLines Mag (Belgium)

"Part FSOL, part Juno Reactor, part leather dominatrix for a sweat-drenched, dawn-climaxing rave. Impassioned and exotic, it's audio that overwhelms your ears and other senses in a sea of synaesthesia. Groovy and hypnotic, Cinema-Tech is the closest you will ever get to having a real whirling dervish land in your pants."
- Earpollution

THE STAR THROWER, by Loren Eiseley
One day a man was walking along the beach
when he noticed a figure in the distance.
As he got closer, he realized the figure was that of a boy
picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean.
Approaching the boy, he asked, "What are you doing?"
The youth replied, "Throwing starfish in the ocean.
The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them in, they'll die."
"Son," the man said, "don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach
and hundreds of starfish? You can't possibly make a difference!"
After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish,
and threw it into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said,
"I made a difference for that one."
